Preparing your book for publication

I help authors prepare the key design and production pieces around their book: cover design, interior formatting or formatter coordination, print and ebook files, printer or platform requirements, launch visuals, and illustration support when needed. Some parts are handled directly, and others are coordinated with trusted specialists. When manuscript editing is needed, I can help connect the author with an editor.

I am the designer behind Erelis Design.

For over 15 years, I have designed book covers, interiors and promotional materials for authors around the world. My work has grown to include publishing guidance, helping authors choose formats, find suitable printers and understand what their books need before publication.

I work directly with independent authors, entrepreneurs and experts on nonfiction, memoirs, fiction, family histories and private editions. My aim is to give each book its own identity, with the quality of design and finish you would expect from an established publisher.

When I am not working, you can usually find me reading, sketching, photographing birds or walking in nature with a camera nearby.
