I help authors prepare the key design and production pieces around their book: cover design, interior formatting or formatter coordination, print and ebook files, printer or platform requirements, launch visuals, and illustration support when needed. Some parts are handled directly, and others are coordinated with trusted specialists. When manuscript editing is needed, I can help connect the author with an editor.

I am the designer behind Erelis Design.

For 20+ years, I have worked with authors around the world on book covers, interiors and the materials that surround a finished book. My work started with cover design and has grown into a wider book-design role for authors who need help making the right choices before publication.

​

I work with fiction authors, memoir writers, nonfiction authors, entrepreneurs, experts, legacy projects and private editions. My goal is to help each book reach the level of design, finish and presentation it needs to stand beside books from established publishers.

​

When I am not working, you can usually find me reading, sketching, photographing birds, or walking in nature with a camera nearby.
